Frequently Asked Questions

Product
No account is needed to use the Free Plan. To unlock paid features, simply activate a Paid Plan.
The Free Plan provides essential tools for running simple and fair draws, ideal for small events. Paid Plans support larger draws and offer additional tools — such as higher limits, fullscreen mode, custom layouts, and an ad-free experience — depending on the plan. See the full comparison on our pricing page.
Paid Plans support higher limits for entries, prize types, winners, and draw attempts. Depending on the plan, they also include ad removal, fullscreen mode, custom layouts, custom banners, and cross-device settings sync.
Yes. The Free Plan is open to all users. You can also enable test mode to simulate a Paid Plan experience.
Each time you click 'Start Drawing' counts as one draw attempt. Clicking 'Draw Next Prize' within the same draw does not use an additional attempt. Draws made in Test Mode do not count towards your quota.
The validity period starts on the date the activation code is issued: the Plus Plan and Pro Plan are valid for 6 months, while the Ultimate Plan is valid for 12 months. Please use your plan before it expires.
Once an activation code expires, it can no longer be used. Even if you still have remaining draw attempts, paid features will no longer be available. You can manually switch to the Free Plan or activate another paid plan.
No. Once all draw attempts have been used, the paid plan is considered ended, and paid features will no longer be available. You can manually switch to the Free Plan or activate another paid plan.
Plans cannot be extended after they expire. To continue using paid features, please purchase a new activation code.

Activation Code
Go to the Activation Page, enter your activation code, and click Submit. Once activated, all paid features will be unlocked.
Yes. Activation Codes are based on usage limits or plan duration, not a single user account. They may be used across devices within reasonable limits. To maintain service quality and prevent abnormal use, email verification may be required when the same Activation Code is activated on a new device or when unusually high device usage is detected. In some cases, the code may be deactivated on a device and require reactivation.
Yes. Just re-enter your Activation Code on the new device. Your draw attempts or plan duration will be shared automatically, and your draw settings can also be synchronised. However, your entry and prize lists are stored on the original device, so they will need to be reloaded, imported, or entered manually on the new device.
Go to the Plan Info page to view your code status, activated features, usage limits, available draw attempts, and expiry date.
You can first try to retrieve it using the Recover Code page. If you're unable to find it there, please contact us with your order email, name, and order details — we’ll help you recover your code.
Using Prize Draw Tool
Yes. All plans can save settings locally in your browser. Paid Plans can additionally save your most recent settings to our server for cross-device use.
Yes. You can copy the results to the clipboard, download them as plain text, or export them to Excel for record-keeping and printing.
Yes. All plans support creating an online winner results page, making it easy to publicly share draw results. The page can be generated from the draw results, and you can share the link with participants or event-related staff.
After completing a draw on the free plan, you can create an online winner results page directly. After the page is created, please bind a management email within 30 minutes so you can return later to manage, edit, or delete the page. If email binding is not completed, the page will be automatically deleted after 30 minutes.
Yes. Fullscreen mode is available in Paid Plans, making it ideal for live events or public displays.
By default, repeat winners are not allowed. You can change this in the draw settings under 'Winning Rules'.
Please check whether your entry list contains duplicate entries with identical content. Each row in the entry list is treated as an independent entry. Even if the content is identical, it will still be considered a separate entry.
The 'No duplicate winners' setting means that the same entry (same row) cannot win multiple different prizes.

Example
Suppose the following prizes are drawn in order, with 'No duplicate winners' enabled:
• 1st Prize × 1 winner
• 2nd Prize × 3 winners

Entry list:
• No.1 Wang Daming 0911222333
• No.2 Wang Daming 0911222333
• No.3 Wang Daming 0955666888

These three entries are treated as separate records, so all three Wang Daming entries have a chance to win the 1st prize.
If No.1 Wang Daming wins the 1st prize, entry No.1 will not be eligible for the 2nd prize. However, No.2 and No.3 can still participate in the 2nd prize draw.
Since the 2nd prize has 3 slots but only 2 eligible entries remain, the 2nd prize will end up with 1 unfilled slot.

If 'Allow winning multiple different prizes' is enabled
The same entry can win different types of prizes, but it will still only win once within the same prize category.

Example:
• 1st Prize: No.1 Wang Daming 0911222333
• 2nd Prize: No.1, No.2, and No.3 Wang Daming can all win

If you want to prevent identical entries from winning multiple times
It is recommended to merge duplicate entries before drawing. You can use the quick tool under the entry list: to combine identical records.
Use the draw settings panel to input prize names and assign the number of winners per prize. Bulk input and quick edits are supported for efficient setup.
Go to the draw screen, click Settings > Winning Rules, and tick 'More entries increase winning chance'.
The system automatically calculates each participant’s winning weight based on how many times they appear in the list. Each line represents one independent draw entry — the more times a name appears, the higher their chance of winning. Once a participant wins, they will no longer be drawn again, even though their name remains visible in the list.

Example list: It is recommended to use the format 'Name, Contact Info' (such as name plus phone number or email address) to avoid confusion between participants with the same name.

John Smith,[email protected]
Emily Chen,[email protected]
Emily Chen,[email protected]
Emily Chen,[email protected]
Lisa Wang,[email protected]
Lisa Wang,[email protected]
Lisa Wang,[email protected]
Lisa Wang,[email protected]

In this example: John Smith has 1 entry, Emily Chen has 3 entries, and Lisa Wang has 4 entries.
If you have enabled 'Test Run', the system will automatically mask part of the winners' names with asterisks to prevent confusion during testing. This is a normal safety feature, not a system error.
To display full names, please turn off 'Test Run' and conduct an official draw. The system will then show all winners' names in full and allow exporting the result list.
Yes. You can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Enter to start the draw, which works the same as clicking the 'Start Drawing' button. This is useful for stage operations or situations where a mouse is unavailable.
Social Comment Import Issues
Even if authorisation has been completed, content may still be inaccessible due to the following reasons:

1. Insufficient permission level
• You may be a Business Manager member but have not been assigned full access to the Page.
• Partial asset access does not allow reading posts or comments.

2. Incomplete authorisation
• Some Facebook permissions were declined during the authorisation process.
• The Business account associated with the Page was not selected during authorisation.

3. Page status issues
• The Page has been unpublished, restricted, or is under review.
• The Page has been deleted.

4. Permission changes after authorisation
• Your Page admin role has been removed.
• You have been removed from the Business Manager.
• The Facebook authorisation token has expired.

Please verify your permission status and click "Refresh Pages" to complete authorisation again.
Step 1: Open the authorisation interface
In the account management section, click the "Refresh Pages" button.

Step 2: Select the Facebook Page
On the first authorisation screen, select the Page you want to use and click "Continue".

Step 3: Authorise Business assets (Important step)
On the second authorisation screen:
• It is recommended to select "Select All" to ensure all related Business assets are included.
• If you know which Business owns the Page, you may select only that specific Business asset.

Step 4: Complete authorisation
Once authorisation is successful, the system will automatically close the authorisation window and reload the Page list.
The tool only retrieves top-level comments. The post’s comment count usually includes replies, so the numbers may differ.
On the comment import screen, click the [Refresh Pages] button next to the admin account at the top. When the Facebook authorisation window appears, select 'Log into another account.'. Then authorise the Page you want to import comments from again.
Since this tool currently imports YouTube comments primarily by reading a YouTube video URL, comments may not be retrievable in some cases:

1. Private, member-only, or restricted videos
• Private videos do not provide public comment access, so comments cannot be read.
• For member-only, age-restricted, or login-required videos, please click [Google Login] and sign in with a YouTube account that has permission to view and read comments for that video, then try again.

2. Not a video comments page
• This tool mainly supports importing comments from a single public video.
• If the input is a channel homepage, community post, Shorts page, or other non-standard video URL, comments may not be retrieved correctly.

3. Live chat messages
• YouTube live chat (Live Chat) is a different system from regular video comments.
• Currently only video comments are supported, and live chat messages are not supported.

Please use a public or unlisted video URL (not private or a live chat page). If the video is member-only, you must first log in and authorise. If comments still cannot be retrieved, please provide the video URL for further investigation.
There are two common reasons why comments may not be fully imported:

1. Plan limits
• The number of comments we fetch depends on your plan's entry limit (Free, Plus, Pro, Ultimate). If a post/video has more comments than your plan allows, only up to your plan's quota will be imported.

2. Top-level comments only
• Our tool imports only top-level (first-level) comments and does not include nested replies. The post’s displayed comment count often includes reply threads, so totals may differ.
Log in to Facebook → Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings. In the left menu, select Business Integrations. Find "Drawrilla Connect" in the list and click Remove.
In the Instagram app open Settings → Security → Apps and Websites (Manage Access), find "Drawrilla Connect" and remove it. If authorised via Facebook Business, you can also remove it from Facebook Business Integrations.
Go to your Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access (or 'Apps with access to your account'), find "Drawrilla Connect" and remove its access.
Security & Fairness
Yes. Our tool uses a CSPRNG (Cryptographically Secure Pseudo-Random Number Generator) to generate secure and unpredictable results. Each draw is independent, making it suitable for public-facing events, campaigns, and livestreams.
No. During the draw, manually entered entry lists are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded, stored, or transmitted to any server.
The draw animation is not automatically recorded. Results are not uploaded or stored unless you choose to create a Winner Results Page. To preserve the draw process, please use screenshots or screen recording tools.
